Oana Mateescu has joined Coca-Cola Romania in October 2007 and she is currently the Government Relations Manager for Romania and Moldova. Previously, she was the PR Manager of the Concept Foundation, Soros Open Network Romania.
From that position, she initiated and managed several communication campaigns financed by donors like the European Union, the World Bank, USAID, the Open Society Institute, the Open Society Foundation etc. Before, she was working for the Open Society Foundation and for the British Council.
In 2006-2007 Oana Mateescu attended a post-graduate program of the American universities Georgetown and George Washington and she specialized in Corporate Social Responsibility. Subsequently she worked as a consultant of the Social Responsibility practice area in The International Finance Corporation, The World Bank Group, Washington D.C. She has a Master Degree in Communication and Public Relations from SNSPA and a BA in Journalism-English from Timisoara University.
