Camelia Crisan is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations within the National School for Political Science and Administration in Bucharest and a PhD candidate in Sociology. Her main area of research is CSR in Romanian organizations and her articles have been published both in Romania and abroad. She has presented papers at CSR academic conferences in Manchester (2007) and Ashridge (2008), and is currently involved in a multiannual research project funded by the Romanian Government whose objective is to evaluate how CSR policies could be transformed into sustainable development tools. She has a long experience in the NGO sector (youth and community development) and has been part of the management team of Progress Foundation (Romanian partner of The Prince’s Trust - UK).
