Cristina Simion
With a background and experience in both journalism and marketing and management, Cristina Simion started in magazine publishing in 1997 and from 2002 is managing director of Edipresse AS Romania (formerly Romanian Publishing Group). Holding a MSc of the Technical University of Iasi, Cristina is completing now her Ph.D. in Change Management. She is a graduate of Stanford Professional Publishing Course at Stanford University, California, and of De Baak Management The Netherlands, a former grantee of Professional Media Program by Freedom House and currently following the FIPP Executive Management Certificate course in UK. Since 1995, she is an associate professor on Marketing and Management in Media with the Universities of Bucharest and Iasi.
