Emil Delibashev is British Airways’ Country Manager for Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova.
He studied International Tourism and pursued a career in the travel industry, previously working with Bulgarian and British tour operators. He started with British Airways in 1999, in Bulgaria, and became Country Commercial Manager in 2001. Under his coordination, Bulgarian operations were boosted to double the number of flights to Sofia while Varna was added as a new destination on the British Airways global map. Emil has consistently contributed to growing the British Airways business in Bulgaria and Romania while managing consistent change in light of unprecedented set of challenges and most difficult trading environment within the aviation industry. He is passionate about aviation and stands by British Airways’s commitment to tackle environmental challenges. The airline has been taking steps to limit its impact on climate change for longer than any other airline and is the only airline in the world to have participated in a carbon emission trading scheme. |
